REVIEW – Dare to Sketch by Felix Scheinberger

I have found this to be a terrific book, full of bite-sized inspirational lessons that you can use in your sketchbook straight away.

Scheinberger’s use of expressive line and restrained colour is delightful in its loose details.

Of particular interest is the section on Travel Drawing – I love that he not only points out things to look for and draw while travelling, but also that the interactions with locals are quite different when drawing, and often more memorable.

I want to take this book with me every day at the moment.
