I’m serious. It really is.
I think I’ve made eight batches so far this month. I have hardly worn my rings because I’ve ‘been rumballing’.
Last year it was choc popcorn, before that it was citrus curd, and before that mini-puds. This year – rumballs.
And I’ve illustrated the recipe for you to download, print and stick on the fridge. Or make cards or gift tags with it – it’s totally up to you.
The recipe comes from my mum, Diana. And it’s got weetbix in it, which makes it totally ok to have rumballs for breakfast. I’m sure that’s true.
So here it is, my gift to you. Illustrated rumballs.
Have a shiny, happy, rummy Christmas!
Thank you a lot for the rumball recipe…
I was these days puzzling about what to bring to friends to enjoy Christmas Evening, which is here on the Canary Islands always sweet.
So, homemade rumballs this year, with rum made on the Canaries.
I love your illustrations, they are really inspiring to begin with the recipe.
Have a wonderful ending and new beginning.
Thank you 😊 this is brilliant
Awe.. This is so special and generous of you to share your family recipe for Rumballs. The illustration is so fun! Your Artwork is so wonderful!! Thank you so much Anna! Am sending Christmas wishes your way! I am going to really enjoy my special gift. I can’t wait to hang the sweet illustration in my kitchen. It will definitely be a Rumball Christmas here!!
What is “Weetbix” and the Australian Sultana?
Hi Elaine, Weetbix is a breakfast cereal bar and a sultana is a dried grape.
