MURALS by Anna Bartlett

I specialise in murals for children that adults enjoy living with,

and murals for adults with a lot of fun details.

Whether you’re looking for a bright, happy, illustrative style, or a more restrained, contemporary approach, a blank wall is my ultimate canvas. Please get in touch if you have a mural idea in mind.

Breastscreen Qld Toowoomba – Room 5

I have painted in five rooms at Breastscreen Qld here in Toowoomba.

The brief included designing artwork that had a lot of detail and was distracting to patients.

The murals also had to be easy for the lovely Breastscreen staff to work with, and the feedback from staff and patients has been very positive.

Paeds Ward Entrance

In December 2014 I painted this colourful mural on the wall at the entrance to the Paediatric Ward, Toowoomba Hospital.

After presenting the staff with four theme options, this ‘Backyard’ theme is the one they chose and I was delighted to be able to bring it to life.

Hospital staff now tell visitors to “look for the sunflowers” to help them find their way to the ward!

Kate’s Place – Feb 2015

This mural was designed and painted especially for the staff and children at Kate’s Place childcare centre in Middle Ridge, Toowoomba.

With an ‘Australian Animal’ theme, incorporating books that the children love, this colourful scene now greets families every day.

Breastscreen Toowoomba – Room 1

This was my first mural in Breastscreen, here in Toowoomba.

Designed to be colourful and distracting to patients, I painted it over three evenings, adding colour, detail and highlights to bring the wall to life.
