I am a contemporary painter who lives in a very long house on top of foggy Mt Kynoch in Toowoomba, Australia.

Happy colours are my thing and the finishing coat of shiny, gloss varnish is my favourite part of the art process. Inspired by Matisse and Ken Done, my paintings are colourful and illustrative, often featuring children, flowers and birds. I recently completed five children’s murals in the Toowoomba Hospital and two detailed murals at Breastscreen Queensland… it’s a brand new building so there are three more to go!

As well as painting originals, I run Shiny Happy Art and very popular ‘Paint Along‘ sessions (in my studio and now online) which are perfect for beginners. We recently introduced Social Drawing Nights on the second Monday of each month, and regular specialty workshops on topics like watercolour, drawing and colour skills.

I am also a mum to my four fun children and a wife to one very tolerant husband.
