Today – the first day of this fun promotion – I am releasing my two flagship online courses from 2018, Shiny Happy Drawing and Shiny Happy Colour, IN FULL, for a great price.
Valued at $132AUD each, for the next THREE DAYS ONLY, you can get them for $99AUD each OR, if you buy both in the one transaction, it’s $176AUD each (that’s just $88AUD each). And if you’re thinking USD$, just take off about a third of that!
Now, Shiny Happy Drawing is the course you do if
- you’re a beginner drawer,
- you like the idea of filling a sketchbook but you’ve never done it,
- you want to be more creative with your kids or your life and general, or
- you simply don’t know what to draw!
I’ve put together over 20 great projects that you can fit into your life in whatever time you actually have.
Shiny Happy Colour was also originally a 6 week online course, and it starts with the basics of colour, before blossoming into over 20 projects that have you ‘learning by doing’. They’re a lot of fun and once again you get to fill a book, but this time it’s a book that you actually make yourself (and it will only take 5 minutes, I promise).
With both of these wonderful workshops you get Lifetime Access to the course videos and materials, as well as access to a very supportive private facebook group and lots of encouragement by me (of course) to do the practice in the time that you have.
So take advantage of this very special low price. You can start whenever you want! And I look forward to welcoming you into my personal studio.
It’s no secret that most of us are trying to keep a lot of balls in the air.
I’ve tried SO MANY systems, online and off, and while things have still been known to fall between the cracks, I feel like it’s going ok at the moment.
Right now I use Google Calendar and a thing called the ‘Do It All Planner’ diary I got from Officeworks a couple of months ago. It stays on my desk seems to be managing my ‘To Do Lists’ well (I’m now allocating tasks to days rather than having one huge, long list).
And while I find myself continually refining my systems to keep on top of things, there’s one thing that has been a constant for many, many years.
The Pantry Calendar.
Here’s a pic of the version I did in 2012. It was based on the awesome wall calendar REMO used to make.
It’s always been the opportunity to clean down the pantry doors, take a look at what has happened this past year, and start afresh with a new calendar.
I design it myself and it’s slightly refined each year. In fact, I think it’s getting more simple and clear as time goes on.
Why it works for me
And here’s our Term 1 plan for the studio – I use the same system, prepping dates and times for classes and instructors. It gets laminated and we use coded dots for events and people (it’s still a WIP for this term!).
So here it is, my gift to you.
May your new year be organised enough for you to feel happy. Mwah!
It’s been a massive year for me and next year’s going to be even more productive – so as a little thank you I’m giving away 3 x $90 gift vouchers on Christmas Eve at noon (Queensland time). There’ll be one for Facebookers, one for Instagrammers and one for those lovelies who’ve added themselves to my mailing list.
A gift voucher means that if you live close by you can spend it on a Studio Paint Along, or if you’re far away you can spend it on an Online Paint Along… so everybody’s happy!
Here’s the link to add yourself to the mailing list!
Thank you again, and Merry Christmas!
